Czech Film Pub – Biegański Square, Częstochowa
Express modular construction after Rakow's championship – functionality, aesthetics and speed of execution
In response to the dynamic needs of the client, MP Alamentti completed a container facility project – the "Czeski Film" pub – located in a prominent spot in Częstochowa, on Biegański Square. The aim was to create a modern, aesthetic and fully functional bar, ready for mass events, in particular football match broadcasts.
Main objectives of the project
The client approached us with a request for the rapid construction of premises based on two steel modules finished with sandwich panels. The design had to meet the city's stringent guidelines and fit into the urban context of the city centre. Three aspects were key:
- short lead time,
- high aesthetics with references to classic pub style,
- full functionality and comfort of use.
Technical and material solutions
Alamentti EPS_S and Alamentti EPS_D sandwich panels were used in the project, enabling quick installation and high thermal insulation and aesthetic quality.
External walls:
- Board: Alamentti EPS_S
- External sheet colour: RAL 9007, profiling: MA – architectural micro-wave
- Internal sheet colour: MultiGloss (wood-like), profiling: RO – grooved
- Thickness: 100 mm, module: 1150 mm, layout: horizontal
Internal walls:
- Board: Alamentti EPS_S
- External sheet metal: white, profiling: GL – smooth
- Inner sheet: MultiGloss (wood-like), profiling: RO – grooved
- Thickness: 100 mm, module: 1150 mm, layout: horizontal
Dach:
- Board: Alamentti EPS_D
- External sheet metal: RAL 9007, profiling: TR – trapezoidal
- Inner sheet metal: RAL 9005, profiling: GL – smooth (orange peel)
- Panel thickness: 100/135 mm, module: 1000 mm
Floor:
- Base layer: 2x OSB board
- Finish: Lentex Voyager resilient flooring
The use of prefabrication and rapid assembly systems
Prefabrication played a key role in this project. Thanks to the use of tongue-and-groove panels, it was possible to:
- reducing installation time to just 2 days,
- limiting the scope of finishing works on site,
- simplification of logistics and increased precision of execution.
The components were prepared at the factory and then transported to the site in the form of ready-made modules. The entire structure was quickly erected and sealed, allowing internal work to begin immediately.
Application of EPS-G (graphite) core – thermals and logistics
A graphite polystyrene core (EPS-G) was chosen due to its:
- very good heat transfer coefficient,
- smaller thickness while maintaining insulating properties,
- lower weight – important for transport and installation of modules.
Aesthetics and adaptation to the surroundings
The design has been approved by the municipal conservator of monuments and fits in with the downtown character of Biegański Square. The colours and profiling of the slabs have been chosen to harmonise with the public space while maintaining a modern look.
The interior has been finished in a classic style – black ceilings, wood-effect walls and cosy lighting give the whole place a bar-like atmosphere with elements of English style. The MultiGloss material used not only looks elegant, but also has high resistance to dirt and abrasion – which is crucial in public spaces.
Conclusions and further use of experience
The construction of the "Czeski Film" pub demonstrated the potential of Alamentti sandwich panels in seasonal, event and service projects. Modular construction, prefabrication and quick assembly are the perfect answer to the needs of modern investors who expect fast implementation without compromising on quality.
We successfully use the experience we have gained in subsequent projects – both in the HoReCa sector and in container, trade fair and event projects.
