Roof sandwich panels with a mineral wool core

Caritas - płyty warstwowe dachowe 1

Fire performance, acoustics and durability in one system

The Alamentti roof sandwich panel with a mineral wool core is a modern solution for roof cladding where enhanced fire and acoustic performance is required. The non-combustible core and robust construction provide high fire resistance (up to REI 120) and effective noise reduction, making this product an ideal choice for industrial facilities, public buildings and specialist structures.

echnical specification and panel build-up

Construction and materials:

  • Insulation core: mineral wool with density ρ = 65–120 kg/m³, thermal conductivity λ = 0.038 W/(m·K), with cross-oriented fibres
  • External facing: TR D trapezoidal profile, 0.4–0.6 mm thick, galvanized steel with organic coatings available in various colours and performance variants
  • Internal facing: flat steel sheet 0.4–0.6 mm, available in GL, RO or LA profiles, galvanized steel with organic coatings available in various colours

Dimensional and physical parameters:

  • Joint: lapped joint formed by the profiled trapezoid – drains water away from the panel joint
  • Modular width: 1000 mm
  • Available core thicknesses: 80, 100, 120, 150, 160, 180, 200, 220, 250 mm
  • Overall thickness with TR D profile: 115–285 mm
  • Maximum manufacturing length: up to 12.5 m (recommended up to 9 m for dark colours)
  • Minimum roof slope: 4% (can be reduced to 3% with additional sealing of the embossments)
  • Self-weight: approx. 15–20 kg/m² (depending on thickness)

Thermal and fire parameters:

  • Thermal transmittance (Uc): from 0.44 W/(m²·K) at 80 mm thickness down to 0.15 W/(m²·K) at 250 mm thickness
  • Reaction to fire: A2-s1,d0
  • Fire resistance: REI 60–120 (depending on panel thickness)

Applications

  • Roofs of industrial buildings, data centres, production and logistics halls
  • Public buildings: swimming pools, schools, arenas
  • Projects requiring high acoustic comfort and fire protection performance

Key benefits

  • High fire resistance and sound-absorbing performance
  • PV-ready option (optional spacer rail)
  • Service life >25 years in corrosion class C4–C5 (depending on coating)

Installation guidelines and logistics

  • Fixing system: self-drilling screws and washers (calottes)
  • Flashings: 0.4–0.6 mm sheet metal, available in colours matching the roof covering (full RAL range)
  • Sealing system: trapezoid sealant

Transport, storage and on-site installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines described in detail in the technical manuals available on the official website.
